  "E-discovery software is used to extract information from electronic data." Today the market offers many tools for electronic discovery. In the selection of these tools, it is necessary to consider that the technology and its provider meet the necessary requirements to offer a tool that facilitates a discovery process with the necessary quality and rigor for legal professionals.  This blog describes the characteristics of some software tools used for eDiscovery. This blog is part of an assignment for the CECS6046 E-Discovery and Digital Evidence course taught at the Graduate School of the Polytechnic University of Puerto Rico.
